Marketing Tip of the Week: Get Creative with Company Branding [Video]

MTOTW #42: From taglines to co-branding, here are a few tips for establishing your corporate identity.

Brand building is an important part of your marketing strategy. Though it's sometimes hard for manufacturing and high tech companies to think outside the box when it comes to branding, a bit of creativity can go a long way. Here are some tips:

  • Focus on what your company does rather than just the company itself. Corning drew attention to their Gorilla Glass product through a series of videos highlighting its durability for mobile devices.
  • Don’t be afraid to take chances with your tagline. Sydor Optics’ tagline, “Our World is Flat,” is simple yet catchy, and it highlights what Sydor does best: flat optics.
  • Co-branding can be a great way to extend impact for yourself, your partners and distributors.
